As Pharmacy Manager, you will oversee daily operations while ensuring excellence in patient care, compliance, and team performance:
Lead daily pharmacy operations, including prescription processing, verification, and dispensing
Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations and uphold the highest standards of pharmacy practice
Monitor workflow, staffing levels, and productivity to meet performance and financial goals
Serve as the primary resource for escalated patient concerns and complex clinical questions
Oversee Drug Utilization Review (DUR) processes to ensure patient safety and optimal therapy outcomes
Collaborate with pharmacists, technicians, and front-end leadership to implement best practices and improve workflows
Drive quality improvement initiatives through data analysis, root cause identification, and corrective actions
Partner with leadership to enhance clinical services, including MTM and other patient care programs
Deliver outstanding customer service and foster strong patient relationships
Leadership & Team Development
Lead, coach, and develop a team of pharmacists, technicians, and support staff
Create a positive, accountable, and high-performing team culture
Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and development opportunities
Support onboarding, training, and continuous education to maintain high standards of care
Communicate organizational goals and ensure alignment across the team
What You Bring
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
Active Pharmacist license in the State of Wisconsin
Immunization certification in Wisconsin
Preferred Qualifications:
3–5 years of pharmacy leadership or supervisory experience
Experience with process improvement, workflow optimization, and quality programs
Skills for Success
Strong clinical knowledge with a patient-first mindset
Proven leadership and team development capabilities
Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving
Experience with pharmacy systems (Pioneer preferred) and Google Workspace tools
