Senior Electrical Design Engineer (contract) Outside IR35 Marine & defence applications 6 month contract
Responsibilities: System Design and Integration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, software, and systems engineers, to integrate electrical systems into the overall design. Design and layout electrical systems, encompassing power distribution, wiring harnesses, connectors, control modules, and charging systems. Ensure all electrical designs comply with industry standards and safety regulations. Prototyping and Testing:
Work closely with testing teams to conduct functional, performance, and safety tests on electrical systems. Diagnose and resolve any issues that arise during testing phases. Documentation and Reporting:
Develop detailed documentation, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical reports related to electrical design. Effectively communicate design concepts and findings to team members, management, and stakeholders. Qualifications and Experience:
Degree in Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering, or a minimum of 5 years of industry experience with an apprenticeship qualification. Profici...
