Position Overview This position is responsible for receiving inbound units which involves determining whether the unit is PO, RO, SO, RMA etc. This position inspects the units for damage and overall quality and includes the correct paperwork. Should there be a discrepancy in trace or units, the inbound inspector is responsible for notifying all parties and place the unit in quarantine until the issue is resolved. Specific Accountabilities Processing orders which include RMA's, Exchanges, Purchase Orders, Work Orders and Repair Orders. Check incoming parts for hidden damage. Add/Remove unit from QChold. Control of nonconforming products and products identification and traceability. Respond to all communications, via email or telephone on the status of various request. Open daily receiver. Receive incoming material from FedEx, UPS and DHL Represent the receiving department in the weekly meeting Work on back-logged items Extract used closed orders and add new ones Recycle old, unused receiver lines Support outbound department. Special projects as assigned, or created, that support the GAPc focus, to include AMR/Commerical data analysis. Qualifications Two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge/training of company software and computer system. Knowledge/training of company standards and procedures. Highly accurate work habits, along with attention to detail. Hazmat (hazardous materials knowledge); DOT and IATA. Any equivalent combination of education and experience determined to be acceptable. Must be able to lift at 50 lbs. Must be able to lift and raise objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position to position. Must be able to operate forklifts, high lift equipment and other warehouse equipment.
