Über
Quality Assurance Coordinator —someone who spots details others miss and turns data into meaningful improvement. The role strengthens the organization’s integrity, accountability, and overall excellence. It places the coordinator at the center of quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.
The coordinator partners closely with leadership to support quality assurance initiatives, compliance monitoring, and investigative processes. They assist with regulatory compliance activities, documentation review, data collection, and reporting. They also support audits, investigations, and quality improvement initiatives, turning findings into forward‑momentum. Coordinating documentation and assisting with the Human Rights Committee (HRC) process ensures high standards and strong practices.
Responsibilities
Support and conduct investigations related to Mistreatment, Abuse, Neglect, and Exploitation (MANE) and administrative matters.
Ensure confidentiality, security, and integrity of investigative records and compliance documentation.
Prepare investigative reports, compliance findings, and trend analyses for leadership review.
Conduct professional, trauma‑informed interviews with individuals served, staff, and providers.
Perform monthly compliance audits and quarterly complaint trend analysis.
Coordinate and support Human Rights Committee (HRC) documentation and processes.
Monitor programmatic and medical compliance systems and report identified risks.
Collaborate with leadership on remediation planning and quality improvement initiatives.
Provide training and guidance to staff on investigations, compliance, and HRC requirements.
Qualifications and Preferences
Associate's degree in a human services‑related field (bachelor's highly preferred).
Minimum of two (2) years in human services, preferably in developmental disabilities and quality assurance, compliance, or investigations.
Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
Resides within the Denver/Aurora metro area.
Valid Colorado driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
Reliable means of transportation other than mass transit.
Driving record: license held for the last three (3) years with no suspensions/revocations and no more than two moving violations in that period.
Highly organized and detail‑oriented.
Comfortable with data, documentation, and process tracking.

Work Location and Hours The position offers remote work opportunities; however, the role requires on‑site presence in the office, programmatic sites, and community locations as needed. The ideal applicant will live within the Denver/Aurora Metro area. This is a full‑time role of 36 hours per week with a 4‑day work week, Monday through Thursday, with sporadic coverage needed on Fridays.
