Key Responsibilities:
Preliminary electrical design and layout
Document delivery coordination
Researching commercially available equipment
Design drafting
System design with direction from mentor and/or senior engineer
Provide exemplary customer service to internal team members and clients
Engineering/Design: Participating in the engineering and design for a wide variety of MEP building project types and sizes.
Teamwork: Participating as a member of a multi‑disciplinary team and receiving guidance, support, task delegation, and mentorship.
Project Tasks: Responsible to project managers for scope, schedule, budget, and discipline coordination for assigned projects.
Client Management: Responsible for project task deliverables leading to client satisfaction and repeat business with assigned clients.
Project Financial Management: Responsible for containing project costs, working efficiently within assigned project scopes.
What You'll Bring: Required
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
0 to 2 years' experience.
Ability to organize your work and perform multiple functions in a fluid, multi‑deadline operations tempo.
Ability to work effectively within a team‑orientated, collaborative environment.
Live within commuting distance of our Washington, DC office.
Preferred
Working Autodesk® REVIT knowledge
Knowledge of electrical building codes and standards.
Desire to earn EIT certification and PE license
Excellent communication and time management skills.
