- CAMHS (Children and Adolescent Mental Health Service) An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Social Worker to join a Children and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS), supporting young people and families within a dynamic, multidisciplinary setting.
We are seeking applications from Staff Grade or Senior Social Workers for a part-time position (0.5 WTE, 2.5 days per week) based in Offaly, with the option to work full-time (1.0 WTE) across Offaly and Laois by covering two part-time roles.
Location:
* Offaly (2.5 days per week)
* Option to extend to Laois (additional 2.5 days) Contract:
* Initial 3-month contract (with potential for extension) Salary:
* €50,000
- €80,000 (pro rata, depending on experience) Working Pattern:
* 0.5 WTE (Offaly only)
* 1.0 WTE (Offaly and Laois) Essential Qualifications
* Recognised professional Social Work qualification
* Registration with CORU
* Previous experience in a similar setting is highly desirable Key Requirements The successful candidate will demonstrate:
* Experience working with children and young people presenting with mental health difficulties and developmental conditions
* Strong skills in assessment of young people and family systems
* Experience delivering evidence-based interventions
* Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
