The Work You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you will:
Troubleshoot and repair
electrical and mechanical issues
on CNC production, quality, and inspection equipment
Diagnose root causes and implement
permanent corrective actions
Apply
Lock-Out / Tag-Out (LOTO)
procedures at all times
Read and interpret
electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
Perform machine repairs involving tooling, alignments, and mechanical components
Support
5S, workflow optimization, and equipment placement
initiatives
Assist with relocating and installing machinery in compliance with OSHA and MIOSHA standards
Obtain and operate licensed equipment (lift trucks, cranes, man-lifts, articulating lifts)
Fabricate minor machine parts, guards, fixtures, and brackets as needed
Operate basic shop equipment (welder, torch, mill, drill press, band saw)
Perform basic machine building, rebuilding, and component repair (valves, cylinders, pumps, clutches)
Support minor building and facility repairs (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, flooring)
Stay current with new technologies impacting productivity, safety, and quality
Maintain a strong focus on safety, housekeeping, and compliance

What We’re Looking For
Required
2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong electrical troubleshooting experience
Solid understanding of mechanical systems and machine principles
Ability to differentiate between
mechanical, electrical, and setup-related issues
Experience working safely around heavy equipment and machinery
Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
Comfortable working from ladders, lifts, and elevated platforms
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs (occasionally more)
Willingness to work in physically demanding and sometimes uncomfortable positions
Preferred (Not Required)
CNC-specific maintenance experience
5-axis or multi-axis CNC exposure
PLC troubleshooting experience
Robotics or automation experience
Programming or control system troubleshooting experience
