Desktop Support This hybrid position in South Jordan, Utah (M, W, F in‑office) ensures our onsite technology and collaborative spaces are seamless, functional, and ready for high‑stakes work. The role involves both deep technical troubleshooting and active, hands‑on physical projects, ranging from macOS ecosystem mastery to conference‑room setups.
Responsibilities
Rapidly resolve incoming support requests via the ticketing system, balancing immediate “break‑fix” needs with long‑term projects.
Lead onsite “build” projects, including mounting TVs, speakers, and projectors, as well as running/terminating cables through ceilings and conduits.
Provision, deploy, and manage Mac hardware through JAMF Pro and Apple Business Manager; inventory all systems using Snipe‑IT.
Manage user accounts, groups, and permissions within the Google Workspace Admin Console.
Lead the technical side of new employee onboarding—account setup, software provisioning, hardware configuration, and a smooth first‑day experience.
Qualifications
1‑3 years of experience in desktop support or IT helpdesk.
Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders safely, work in tight spaces (under desks/server closets) and above ceiling cable runs.
Excellent customer service and communication skills—able to explain technical issues clearly to non‑technical users.
Ability to prioritize tasks effectively to finish the things that really matter without being sidetracked.
Bonus Points
Experience with Jamf Pro, Apple Business Manager, and Ubiquiti.
Excellent communication skills and empathy for end users.
