Up to £45,500 depending on experience.
A hybrid and flexible working arrangement is available.
Job Description As a Cyber Security Associate you will deliver security assurance for priority UK defence capability including Continuous At Sea Deterrent, through Cyber tasks, checks, audits, incident management and policy updates.
Working in a small growing team, you will support the secure delivery and maintenance of key defence security standards.
Core Duties
Complete Cyber vulnerability checks across required systems.
Manage MODCERTs and support audit and assurance activities as needed.
Carry out group mailbox checks regularly and coordinate incident management tasks.
Check the audit schedule and conduct required audit visits.
Perform mail domain checks and update threat levels when required.
Essential Skills
Hold a CompTIA certification or have equivalent Cyber security experience.
Experience working with ISO 27001, NIST 800-53 and 800-37 standards.
Strong audit capabilities and relevant audit experience.
Reasonable experience with government or defence standards documents.
