Describe the tools, technologies, applications and practices used to collect, integrate, analyze, and present an organization's raw data in order to create insightful and applicable business information.
Begin to influence department's strategy.
Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction.
Exercise considerable latitude in determining goals and approaches to assignments.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and 5 or more years of technical experience in data analysis (SQL and large data sets) OR Master's degree and 3 or more years of experience.
Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Advanced experience working with big and complex data sets within large organizations.
Experience analyzing data to solve several business problems and create data visualizations that drive strategic direction.
Proficiency in understanding Healthcare related data.
Proficiency in verbal and written communication to senior and executive leadership.
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.
Advanced SQL Query Development.
Data Visualization experience (Power BI and/or Tableau).
Advanced Power BI report development (i.e., DAX, bookmarks, data modeling).
Experience with Healthcare financial data.
Experience creating analytics solutions for various healthcare sectors.
Travel While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Pay Range The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$89,000 - $121,400 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
