We sell certified pre-owned smartphones, tablets, laptops, smartwatches, and accessories: a smarter, more affordable, and more sustainable alternative to buying new. Responsible Recycler certified. Over one million pounds of e-waste diverted. We are not just a brand. We are a movement, and we are just getting started. How We Work
Plug runs on ownership. We move fast, expect a lot, and give people the autonomy to match. No politics. No hand-holding. No ambiguity about what winning looks like. Every person here operates with a founder mindset: clear on the goal, accountable for the outcome, proud of the work. If you want a front-row seat to building something that matters, this is the place. If you want a job where someone tells you exactly what to do every day, this isn't it. The Role
Plug is scaling fast and we intend to keep it that way: on purpose. We need a Data Analyst who can turn the numbers behind our operation into decisions the business can actually move on. From inventory aging and pricing trends to sell-through and vendor performance, the data is there. We need someone who can structure it, surface it, and make it actionable for the people running the business every day. This is not a reporting role for the sake of reporting. It is a seat at the table for someone who wants to help build a smarter, leaner, faster operation. You will work directly with Supply Chain, Operations, Marketing, and Finance, and your work will be visible at every level. What You'll Own
Own the daily health check of the business: monitor KPIs, flag anomalies, surface what matters before anyone has to ask. Build and maintain pricing dashboards: secondary market pricing for top device models by grade and storage. Track inventory by model, grade, storage, channel allocation, and aging bucket (0-30 / 31-60 / 61-90 / 90+). Build vendor scorecards: quality, on-time delivery, pricing compliance, cost per unit trends. Analyze sell-through by SKU across all channels. Maintain cost basis tracking: average cost per unit by vendor, model, grade. Flag slow-moving inventory for markdown or liquidation. Build weekly procurement and sales reports. Support monthly P&L by channel. Build NetSuite saved searches, dashboards, and reports: become the power user the company relies on. Develop forecasting models for demand and capacity planning. Run ad hoc analyses that drive real decisions: pricing, allocation, channel mix, returns. Document data definitions and methodologies so institutional knowledge doesn't walk out the door. What You Need
2-5 years as a data analyst or BI analyst. Advanced Excel / Google Sheets (pivot tables, lookups, array formulas, viz). NetSuite (or similar ERP) reporting experience strongly preferred. SQL proficiency. Experience with at least one BI tool (Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Data Studio). Visualization skills that turn complex outputs into clear narratives. Communicates with both technical and non-technical audiences. Business acumen: connects data to decisions that actually matter. Strong Advantage
Oracle NetSuite power-user (significantly elevates this role). Python or R. Inventory, pricing, or supply chain analytics background. Ecommerce or consumer electronics experience. You'll Hate This Job If…
You'd rather perfect a dashboard nobody opens than ship a rough one that changes a decision today. You expect requirements handed to you in writing. You want to specialize in one tool and never touch the rest of the stack. The Bottom Line
We are not looking for someone to build reports that get ignored. We are looking for someone obsessed with what the numbers are actually saying: and who can make other people care about it too. Equal Opportunity
Plug is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.
