We are currently recruiting for an experienced and driven General Sales Manager to join a successful and busy main dealer operation. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proven automotive professional to take full responsibility for a sales department and drive performance, profitability, and team development.
The Role As General Sales Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire sales operation, ensuring targets are achieved while maintaining high standards of customer service and compliance. You will lead from the front, motivating your team and maximising both volume and profit across new and used vehicle sales.
Key Responsibilities ·Leading, motivating and developing a team of Sales Managers and Sales Executives ·Driving overall department performance including volume, gross profit, F&I and KPIs ·Overseeing deal structuring to maximise profitability ·Managing stock levels, ageing units and pricing strategies ·Ensuring FCA compliance and manufacturer standards are consistently met ·Monitoring performance through reporting, forecasting and analysis ·Recruiting, training and developing high-performing sales staff ·Delivering an exceptional customer experience and maintaining high CSI levels
