Sales Support Specialist
Automation Personnel Services is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Representative to join our client’s team in Addison, TX.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with outside sales partners and the distribution team to support and grow existing accounts while developing new business opportunities. You will connect with customers primarily through email and occasional phone communication, building strong relationships, identifying needs, and delivering solutions that drive satisfaction and repeat business.

Pay Rate
$20.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours
Part Time Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 3:30 pm. (30 hrs.)

Will eventually be full time

Sales Support Specialist Duties and Responsibilities

• Generate new and repeat sales by providing timely product and technical information.

• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products or alternatives based on cost, availability, and specifications.

• Present pricing, credit, and terms according to company guidelines.

• Process orders, quotes, returns, and provide accurate stock availability.

• Coordinate with vendors on ship dates and deliveries; monitor and expedite shipments as needed.

• Grow sales through cross-selling, upselling, add-ons, and promotions.

• Educate customers on product features and benefits to enhance satisfaction.

• Resolve complaints and document non-conformances.

• Maintain customer records in CRM/internal systems.

• Collaborate with sales, production, and warehouse teams; assist with shipping when needed.

• Follow company procedures and maintain a professional image.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Sales Support Specialist Qualifications and Requirements

• Strong technical aptitude; quick learner and highly coachable.

• Sales service experience required; customer service experience a plus

• Team player willing to assist where needed, including light warehouse duties (up to 25 Ibs, 15% of the day)

• Reliable, dependable, and have consistent transportation

• Must be able to pass a background check

Job Type

Temp to hire, based on attendance and performance
