This well-established medical center is actively building their urology locum coverage pool to ensure comprehensive patient care. The facility features a Level II trauma designation with onsite lab and X-ray capabilities, supported by a dedicated team of 4 urologists who provide excellent coverage and support.
Opportunity:
Physician - Urology
Job Details:
• Provide 24-hour call coverage (6am-6am) for adult and geriatric urology services
• Handle ED and inpatient consultations exclusively
• Perform 2-5 hospital-based surgeries per weekend on average
• Manage 15-20 patients per day during coverage periods
• Required procedures include ureteroscopy, laparoscopic surgeries, general urology, trauma cases
• Perform nephrectomy and partial nephrectomies with intraoperative ultrasound
• Handle incontinence procedures and trauma-related urological cases
• Work independently as other urologists will not be present during locum assignments
• Document cases using Epic EMR system
• Must be board certified with active South Carolina medical license
• Requires 100% clean background with no exceptions
• BLS/ACLS certification preferred
• Self-Query NPDB report required within 30 days of presentation
• Must provide one professional reference at time of submission
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 60 days
• Flight, hotel, rental car, and mileage reimbursement provided
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
