This role is mostly remote with some on-site work located in Washington, DC. Candidates must reside in DC/MD/VA and possess an active DOD/DSS Secret clearance (interim acceptable).
Responsibilities Helps manage project change and configuration processes by managing change requests, reviewing open issues, updating configuration baselines, and communicating essential information to the project team and stakeholders
Coordinates with development team resources and government customers to ensure alignment with organizational priorities and mandates, and to ensure application support and development activities are streamlined
Assists in the successful execution of the program testing process and testing activities
Assists with the management and optimization of service delivery processes and service agreements and analyzes IT operation metrics for problems and opportunities
Helps establish IT project plans, including project purpose, objectives, technical approach, and schedules
Supports the creation and maintenance of program documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures, Test Plans, Reference Guides, Training Guides, etc.
Supports the administration of SharePoint and the programs document repository
Travel and off-hours work may be required, though minimal
Minimum Qualifications Bachelors degree in Business Administration, or IT Management (or equivalent related field experience)
PMP certification required
4+ years of experience in the Information Technology field
3+ years of experience in writing technical documents
3+ years of experience in a client facing role; federal clients preferred
Knowledge of developing, implementing, and monitoring IT program and project delivery
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, and SharePoint
Positive attitude, willingness to learn and apply new skills and approaches, team player
Strong communication (written and oral), presentation, organizational and interpersonal skills
Able to take initiative, manage own workload, and assume responsibility for tasks
Able to multitask, handle multiple projects, and meet internal and client deadlines
Ability to exercise sound judgment and innovative thinking
Desired Qualifications Experience in Agile/SCRUM environments
ScrumMaster (CSM) certification
ITIL Foundation certification
Familiarity with MS Project and ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM)
Clearance Requirement Active Secret or Top-Secret government security clearance
