Systems Administrator

We are looking for a Systems Administrator to join our team here at our Dublin studio. The successful candidate will ensure the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of IT Servers, Networks, Storage and IT Security in the corporate environment.

This is a Fixed-Term, 12-Month contract based in Dublin.

The successful candidate must have the right to work in Ireland for the duration of the contract.

• Ensuring the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization.
  
• Installing and upgrading computer components and software, managing virtual servers, and integrating automation processes.
  
• Troubleshooting hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues.
  
• Providing documentation and technical specifications for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure.
  
• Ensuring regular backup operations and implementing appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures are undertaken.
  
• Ensuring capacity, storage planning, and database performance is for purpose.

• Knowledge: Strong knowledge in Server/Storage and network systems. Working knowledge of virtualization such as VMware.
  
• Working knowledge of networking protocols.
  
• Strong knowledge of IT operations best practices, data protection, and disaster recovery protocols.
  
• Experience: Strong working experience in server/network and storage systems.
  
• Experienced in scripting and automation tools.
  
• Technical Skills: Strong skill sets of Windows Server and Linux Server environments. xcfaprz
  
• Basic knowledge of scripting such as PowerShell or Bash, Microsoft MCSE Core Infrastructure, Cisco CCNA.
