Operational Technology (OT) Security Architect

We’re looking for an OT Security Architect to help protect industrial control systems (ICS) and operational technology (OT) environments from cyber threats—while ensuring safety, availability, and regulatory compliance.

This role sits at the intersection of IT and OT, enabling secure digital operations across critical infrastructure environments such as utilities, energy, manufacturing, and transportation

• Define and implement OT cybersecurity strategies aligned to IEC 62443, NIST 800‑82, NIS D, and ISO 27001
  
• Establish OT security governance models and maintain OT risk registers across multiple sites
  
• Act as a trusted advisor to OT operations, engineering, and senior stakeholders
  
• Design secure OT network architectures aligned to the Purdue Model (Levels 0–3.5)
  
• Define and validate secure IT/OT integration patterns (segmentation, data flows, remote access)
  
• Secure OT digital transformation initiatives (e.g. historians, analytics platforms)

• Conduct OT‑specific risk, vulnerability, and penetration assessments across SCADA, DCS, and PLC environments
  
• Implement vulnerability and patching strategies suitable for safety‑critical systems
  
• Support OT incident response and forensic investigations
  

• 
  
• Deploy and operate OT security technologies, including:
  
• Firewalls and segmentation at Levels 2 & 3
  
• Secure remote access solutions
  
• Removable media controls and data diodes
  
• Support deployments across geographically dispersed and remote sites
  

• 
  
• Support compliance with NIS D and sector‑specific regulations
  
• Prepare audit evidence, security reports, and remediation plans
  
• Translate regulatory requirements into practical, site‑level controls
  

• 
  
• Work closely with plant operators, xcfaprz OT engineers, OEMs, vendors, and system integrators
  
• Lead or support multi‑site OT security uplift programmes
  
• Deliver OT security training and awareness sessions
  

• 
  
• Strong hands‑on experience in OT / IC S / SCADA / DCS environments
  
• Deep understanding of industrial networking, protocols, and architectures
  
• Proven experience delivering OT security assessments, designs, and implementations
  
• Strong knowledge of OT security standards:
  
• IEC 62443
  
• NIS D
  
• Experience working in critical infrastructure or highly regulated environments
