About the position
As a Security Analyst, you will play a critical role in safeguarding Sectra's information systems and ensuring the security of our products and services. You will investigate security incidents, assess risks, develop security best practices, and contribute to cybersecurity awareness efforts across the company. This is an excellent opportunity for a cybersecurity professional with 2-5 years of relevant experience to work in a mission-driven organization that is making a meaningful impact in healthcare technology.
As a
Security Analyst , you will have the opportunity to:
Investigate security incidents and respond to real-time security events.
Provide first-level response to phishing email incidents.
Write detailed incident response reports, documenting findings and remediation steps.
Conduct threat research to identify emerging cybersecurity risks.
Perform periodic risk assessments to evaluate Sectra's security posture.
Assist in administering the Vulnerability Management program.
Develop and promote best practices for information security.
Help maintain and update comprehensive incident response plans and procedures to align with industry standards.
Support cybersecurity awareness initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen Sectra's security posture.
Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.
Travel as required (both international and national up to 25%)
As a Security Analyst, the following requirements apply:
2-5 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, information security, or a related field.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, attack vectors, mitigation techniques, and GRC strategies.
Experience with incident response, threat analysis, and vulnerability management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate security incidents.
Effective written and verbal communication skills to document and explain security incidents and recommendations.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred experience, not required:
Certifications such as Security+, CISSP, CEH, or GSEC.
Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Understanding of secure software development practices.
Knowledge of scripting or programming languages for automation (Python, PowerShell, etc.).
Experience in healthcare IT security or working within compliance frameworks such as HIPAA.

The salary range for this position is between
$95,000 and $125,000 , based on experience and qualifications.
