Job Description:

QA automation engineers design automated tests by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically. This includes determining the priority for test scenarios and creating execution plans to implement these scenarios. Designing documentation for automated processes.

The QA Engineer Automated is an Information Technology (IT) position and will provide testing services for the mandated enhancements of the Childcare Licensing Automation Support System (CLASS), Public Provider Portal and Classmate. This position will create test cases and scripts for functional and nonfunctional requirements, prepare test data, execute test scripts, analyze data, support user acceptance testing, and provide defect triaging.

20% travel into the office is required

Position will be 4 days remote with 1 day (20% travel into the office is required) required to be onsite at the location listed above. Program will only accept LOCAL ONLY candidates for this position.

Required skills:

• 8 years of Strong verbal and written skills in communicating with peers and different levels of users.

• 8 years of Strong background in developing test suites in UFT or similar tool.

• 8 years of Skilled with Database query languages (SQL, PL/SQL)

Preferred skills:

• 6 years of Skilled in developing Requirements Traceability Matrices.

• 6 years of Skilled in developing and executing Test Scripts

• 6 years of Skilled in developing Test Plans and coordinating User Acceptance Testing

• 6 years of Experience with general IT SDLC processes.

• 4 years of Experience using JIRA for managing project/sprint tasks.

• 4 years of Working in a Agile SDLC environment

• 4 years of Experience using Jira to track work assignments.

• 1 year of Experience working on projects utilizing agile project management methodologies.
