We are currently seeking a
Manager - Streaming Analytics
to join our
Research
team, based in our
New York, New York , office.
Responsibilities
Serve as a primary streaming performance expert, delivering recurring executive updates that synthesize subscriber, content, marketing, and partner performance into a clear narrative.
Evaluate performance relative to forecasts and targets, identifying key drivers and outlining recommended next steps.
Translate KPI trends into insights and recommendations across acquisition, engagement, retention, content performance, and revenue.
Embed cross-functionally with streaming growth, marketing, programming, distribution, finance, and product teams to provide decision-oriented analytics support.
Develop executive-ready materials that connect performance results to underlying business drivers and strategic actions.
Conduct deep-dive analyses on key performance shifts, identifying root causes and quantifying impact.
Partner with marketing and finance on subscriber forecasting assumptions, including acquisition, conversion, and churn dynamics.
Build and refine forecasting models, scenario analyses, and performance projections to support executive decision-making.
Support finance with executive performance reporting, budget alignment, and analysis.
Contribute to special projects on an ad-hoc basis, including pricing changes, partner initiatives, bundles, and promotional offers.
Collaborate with BI and data teams to ensure consistent KPI definitions, accurate reporting, and scalable analytics workflows.
Qualifications
4+ years of experience in analytics, research, strategy, consulting, or a related field.
Experience in streaming, media, technology, or subscription-based businesses strongly preferred.
Proficient with SQL for querying large datasets and performance metrics; experience with Python or other scripting languages a strong plus
Experience with data visualization tools such as PowerBI, Tableau or Looker
Track record of building executive-facing analyses that connect performance data to strategic insights.
Strong analytical and modeling skills, with advanced Excel required.
Experience building forecasting models, scenario analyses, or performance projections in a subscription or consumer business environment preferred.
Track record of building and delivering executive-ready PowerPoint presentations.
Familiarity with acquisition funnels, cohort behavior, retention dynamics, and subscription KPIs.
Experience working with marketing performance data or growth teams preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with comfort presenting to senior stakeholders.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage ambiguity and meet tight deadlines.
Relevant degree preferred.
The base compensation range for this position is
$130,000- $150,000 , commensurate with experience.
