Responsibilities Senior Business Intelligence Analysts (SBIAs) are trusted partners to stakeholder teams and development teams alike. They work hard to develop a deep understanding of our key stakeholders to drive business value. SBIAs build BI solutions that improve decision making, operational effectiveness, and financial outcomes. As focus areas for 2026, the Enterprise BI & Analytics Team is deploying new Data Governance and Data Quality programs; experience in this area is a bonus but not required.
Senior Business Intelligence Analysts are catalysts for delivering business value.

Stakeholder Communications & Relationship Building:
Develops strong relationships with business units and becomes an advocate for the business
Defines reporting requirements, issues, needs, and deadlines and communicates needs to BIA teams to partner on solutions
Acts as a liaison between business units, analysts, and engineers
Asks appropriate leading and clarifying questions, delivers on promises
Capable of serving as Subject Matter Expert in a variety of circumstances
Power BI Report & SQL Query Creation:
Assists stakeholders with advanced level SQL and DAX questions and issues
Handles reporting needs accurately and efficiently
Proposes and builds solutions that will drive business value
Shares best practices with team members and business units
Performs reporting audits and optimizations for the team
Effectively performs internal testing and coordinates stakeholder UAT
Proactively contributes to complex, multi‑quarter BI projects
Maintain Team Documentation:
Collects and stores reporting information related to requests from business units
Assists with the creation of training and documentation materials for business units
Promotes internal team standards for projects and reports
Drive Stakeholder and Team Success:
Lead initiatives in support of team goals
Desire to train and collaborate with junior team members
Act as stakeholder business partner for intermediate or long‑term business goals
Provide nuanced and effective communication
Point of escalation for stakeholder concerns
Physical Requirements:
Work is performed while sitting/standing and interfacing with a personal computer.
Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
Requires occasional bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
Requires the ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs.
Remote Work Qualifications
Access to a reliable and secure high‑speed internet connection. Cable or fiber internet connections (at least 75 mbps download/10 mbps upload) are preferred, as satellite connections often cannot support the technologies used to perform day‑to‑day tasks.
Access to a home router and modem.
A dedicated home office space that is noise‑ and distraction‑free. The space should have strong wireless connection or a wired Ethernet connection (wired connection is preferred, if possible).
A valid, physical address (apartment, suite, etc.). PO Boxes are not supported, as a physical address is required for you to receive your computer equipment.
The desire and ability to work and communicate with other team members via chat, webcam, etc.

Experience
Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience (preferred degrees: Mathematics, Statistics, Analytics, Finance, Accounting)
5+ years of professional experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics or equivalent field
5+ years of experience working in e‑commerce reporting and analytics
3+ years of experience working with a cloud data warehouse
1+ years of experience working with Snowflake
Great but not required: brick‑and‑mortar store analysis experience
Great but not required: experience with data quality and data governance initiatives
Great but not required: Experience with statistical tools like SASS, SPSS, Stata
Great but not required: Experience with data science tools, like Jupyter

Desired Traits & Skills
Advanced level SQL query writing
Advanced experience in Excel
Knowledgeable with data visualization tools Power BI, Looker, Tableau, etc.
Ability to perform executive level analysis at a fast pace
Completes causal and correlative analysis to explain scenarios across the business
Performs deep dives on ad‑hoc business questions
Experience with incorporating advanced math and statistics into analysis summaries (ratios, linear regression, difference‑in‑difference)
Ability to understand the strategic value of stakeholder projects and propose creative solutions
Ability to develop and maintain long‑term productive relationships with stakeholders and developers
Ability to independently lead delivery of stakeholder initiatives and interact with diverse personalities and roles within the organization
Proficiency with MS Office required (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong attention to detail
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills required
Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain technical and complex concepts clearly
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
Ability to quickly adapt as business needs change; ability to address difficult situations with diplomacy and emotional intelligence
Customer service‑oriented attitude with a demonstrated desire to exceed expectations
Great but not required: Intermediate to advanced level DAX
