Job Description
We are looking for a
Manual Quality Assurance Analyst
to develop comprehensive test plans-both technical and functional-within ServiceNow; ensure traceability between requirements and test cases.This position will be
full-time
and
remote.
What You'll Do:
Participate in all Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives; contribute QA perspective to velocity and capacity planning
Review and analyze user stories and acceptance criteria to ensure testability; provide feedback during backlog grooming and story refinement
Execute test plans to validate functionality and data accuracy; maintain thorough, up-to-date testing documentation in ServiceNow throughout the sprint cycle
Perform regression testing across impacted modules following defect fixes and sprint releases to protect production stability
Log, classify, and prioritize defects in ServiceNow with sufficient technical detail to enable efficient developer resolution; re-test and formally validate all resolved defects
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by coordinating with business testers, tracking their progress, and managing defect workflows through to closure
What You'll Need:
Required
5+ years of hands-on QA/software testing experience, with demonstrated expertise in both functional and technical testing disciplines
Proficiency with ServiceNow as a test management platform (test plans, test cases, defect tracking)
Strong working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies; experience embedded within active Agile development teams
Exceptional test case writing skills-ability to rapidly identify positive and negative test scenarios on the spot based on requirements, with minimal ramp-up time
Proven ability to write clear, detailed defect reports; able to clearly explain the nature of a bug, its impact, and a recommended resolution approach to both technical and non-technical audiences
Experience supporting or coordinating UAT with business stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to work across time zones with distributed teams; prior offshore engagement experience strongly preferred
Strong written and verbal English communication skills
Proven ability to collaborate effectively with technical peers and business partners across functional boundaries
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with federal, state and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard and monitor
