Are you passionate about nurturing young minds? Brimpton House Day Nursery and Pre-school is on the lookout for a dedicated and enthusiastic Room Leader to inspire creativity and excellence every day!

  • Location: 59 High Street, Kelvedon, CO5 9AE
  • Position: Room Leader
  • Hours: Full Time - 40 Hours Per Week
  • Salary: £29,244

This exciting role is based in our toddler room, catering to children aged 1-2 years. As the Room Leader, you will work closely with other rooms to ensure smooth transitions and create a nurturing environment for all. Our nursery operates from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM , and we require flexibility in your shift patterns.

Your Responsibilities as Room Leader:
  • Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences tailored to children's age and development
  • Support the holistic development of children—physically, intellectually, socially, and emotionally
  • Assist staff in maintaining high-quality updates on the EyLog system and child learning journals
  • Lead by example, promoting respect and credibility in your role
  • Implement an effective key person approach to foster secure attachments
  • Maintain accurate records on the EyMan system and ensure compliance with statutory requirements
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff member, parent, and visitor
What We’re Looking For:
  • Qualification: Full and relevant Level 3 in Childcare (Essential)
  • Experience: Over 1 year in Early Years (Essential), with over 6 months in a senior position (Desirable)
  • Knowledge: Understanding of Ofsted expectations and EYFS statutory framework (Essential)
  • Language: Fluent in written and spoken English (Essential)
