Nursery Manager

Location: Jigsaw Pinner Day Nursery, nestled within the Pinner Free Church, just a stone's throw from Pinner Memorial Park and the West House & Health Robinson Museum.

Salary: £30,139.20 per annum

Hours: 40 hours per week, all year round (Monday to Friday)

As a Room Leader, you will:

• Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences tailored to children's age and development.
• Support the holistic development of children—physically, intellectually, socially, and emotionally.
• Assist staff in maintaining high-quality updates on the EyLog system and children's learning journals.
• Lead by example, promoting respect and credibility in your role.
• Implement an effective key person approach to foster secure attachments for children.
• Maintain accurate records on the EyMan system and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
• Prioritize the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff member, parent, and visitor.
• Ensure adherence to the statutory framework for the EYFS.

To thrive in this role, you should have:

• Full and relevant Level 3 Childcare qualification (Essential).
• Over 1 year of experience in Early Years (Essential).
• 6 months of experience in a senior position (Desirable).
• Knowledge of Ofsted expectations for achieving a Good or Outstanding rating (Desirable).
• Understanding of the statutory framework for the EYFS (Essential).
• Fluency in written and spoken English (Essential).
