Prime Video is a first-stop entertainment destination offering customers a vast collection of premium programming in one app available across thousands of devices. Prime members can customize their viewing experience and find their favorite movies, series, documentaries, and live sports – including Amazon MGM Studios-produced series and movies; licensed fan favorites; and programming from Prime Video add-on subscriptions such as Apple TV+, Max, Crunchyroll and MGM+. All customers, regardless of whether they have a Prime membership or not, can rent or buy titles via the Prime Video Store, and can enjoy even more content for free with ads.

Key job responsibilities

The Content Foundations team enables digital video content providers worldwide to onboard their content to Prime Video, and enrich it to ensure completeness, accuracy, and accessibility for all customers. The Senior Manager, Content Lifecycle and Enrichment leads a team of product managers to build products and services that support the global delivery of defect-free, on-time metadata and video content to our customers through the entire supply chain - from ingestion to when a customer hits the 'play' button.

You and your team own the ingestion services, work with science teams to build quality detection and correction models, and enhance content with customer-delighting features. You and your team define and deliver new customer experiences based on foundational catalog capabilities and own the end-to-end quality of title content delivered to customers worldwide.

In this role you will be the single threaded product owner of the vision and roadmap across multiple product areas, and will be responsible for leading your team to launch and scale new and existing features used daily by our studio partners and internal operations teams to publish more great digital video content to Amazon.

A successful candidate will be able to articulate and drive a strategic vision, work cross-functionally across key stakeholders, and partner with dedicated engineering and science teams to deliver scalable solutions that grow selection for Prime Video's customers. He or she will have a consistent track record in taking on end-to-end ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment. This leader must have strong written and verbal communications skills, the ability to manage and influence others, passion for digital video, and strong cross-functional leadership.

Basic Qualifications

5+ years of team management experience

7+ years of technical product or program management experience

Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

3+ years of end to end product delivery experience

Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications

Experience delivering consumer software products and services in a high growth environment

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $178,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $307,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
