Technical Program Manager, Reporting & Analytics
which can help drive the next generation of user experiences and analytics platforms using cutting-edge technology.
As a Program Manager in the ERA team within ARC, you will partner closely with finance and business stakeholders to understand their needs related to Risk centric data; translate those needs into technical requirements; and collaborate with our engineering team to deliver solutions that help our users make data-driven business decisions. This role will accelerate your career growth by enabling you to develop deep technical skills in program management and leading-edge BI technologies, to hone your business and financial acumen, and to become adept at solving tough problems like meeting customer needs while addressing engineering priorities like long-term sustainability of the systems we build. Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for driving the adoption and success of our solutions by engaging with ARC across all pillars, advocating for their needs, and ensuring our solutions meet their requirements.
Partners with Microsoft internal finance and business teams to understand business requirements. Partners with other program management, engineering, data science, and upstream-data-source teams to define jointly how to execute various program priorities to deliver BI solutions. Focus on
what
users need and
why
and recommend
how
we can best meet clearly articulated user needs.
Takes ownership of business-partnering relationships, subject matter expertise, and long-term technical roadmaps for our solutions (data/analytics platform and reporting). Including project/sprint management, communications, requirement gathering, support orchestration, executive status updates, relationship management. Help our users maximize the value of our data solutions via evangelization and user-education efforts.
Runs scrum/agile/adaptive software development processes to ensure a continuous pipeline of clear and actionable requirements for development teams. Including leading discussions on requirements, technical specifications, and prioritization for engineering development.
Eagerly tackles a variety of tough problems faced by our business partners. Roles & responsibilities may evolve over time but will be continually clarified.
Provides thought leadership on data quality assurance and process improvement & documentation to ensure accuracy, reliability, and credibility of our solutions.
Create and maintain a backlog of items to be used by a cross-functional team of solutions managers and an engineering team that supports them.
Monitor existing solutions for appropriateness, scale and redundancy/resilience.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, Information Technology, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development or related field
OR equivalent experience
2+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects
2+ years of experience using Azure DevOps for tracking planning, prioritizing, execution, and monitoring
2+ years of experience working with Agile Scrum Methodologies
Preferred Qualifications
8+ years of experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
6+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects utilizing Agile Scrum Methodologies
1+ year(s) experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos)
Ability to work across-geo, working directly with global stakeholders
Passion for engaging with stakeholders and advocating for their needs
Detail oriented with robust analytical/problem-solving skills
Technical Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
