Reports to:
Team Lead, Inside Sales
Summary of Responsibilities Inside Sales support to enter and manage all unit sales orders, and to achieve monthly and yearly wholesale targets through direct support of our field staff and dealer network.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Perform order management activities including order entry, date changes, cancellations, invoice adjustments and transfer of units between dealers. Submission of manual credit and debit memos. Basic reporting on above activities.
Provide first-line logistics support, such as investigating dealer reports of late, missing or damaged units, inaccurate ETAs or missing shipment notifications.
Maintain a consistently high level of communication with the dealers and DSMs, providing order ETAs and stock verifications, and contacting dealers regularly to maintain strong relationships. Provide white-glove service to our Elite dealer subset.
Comply with published sales programs and adhere to the sales and delivery priority matrix when processing orders; variances require approvals. Also upsell/forward sell when possible, to gain maximum benefit for dealers and Yamaha Motor Canada. Occasional outbound calls to dealers to support field staff in pursuit of new business.
Provide back up support for other Inside Sales group functions (including Parts and Accessories order management) when required and other duties as assigned by your supervisor or management.
Experience Requirements
Degree/Diploma:
Minimum college diploma
Program of Study:
Supply Chain/Business or relevant work experience in lieu
Years of Experience:
2 – 5 years in CSR environment
Type of Experience:
Logistics/supply chain or customer service
Skills and Abilities
Experience in a supply chain management (SCM) environment
Previous CSR experience using SAP as an ERP
Good verbal and written communicator
Strong attention to detailGood time management skills and the ability to multi-task
Motivated and self-reliant
Bilingualism in French an asset
Expected salary range: $50,000 - $55,000/per annum
Although base salary for this position falls within the above posted range, final compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
