How you'll contribute to our mission As Manager of Sales Development, you will help shape how Frontline connects with K-12 districts in meaningful and lasting ways. You will lead a team focused on introducing our solutions, building trusted first impressions, and creating strong momentum for long-term partnerships.
This role is centered on developing people, strengthening how we show up in the market, and bringing teams together around a shared purpose. Your leadership will directly influence how we grow, how we collaborate, and how we support educators and administrators across the country.
How you'll drive success
Lead, coach, and grow a team of sales development professionals, creating an environment where individuals feel supported, challenged, and motivated to do their best work
Guide daily, weekly, and quarterly efforts to build a healthy pipeline and consistently meet or exceed performance goals
Partner closely with sales and marketing to align outreach strategies, campaigns, and messaging across inbound and outbound efforts
Shape how the team engages with prospective districts by refining qualification approaches and improving consistency in how opportunities are identified and advanced
Use data and insights to monitor performance, identify trends, and make informed decisions that improve conversion and pipeline quality
Introduce thoughtful use of tools and automation to enhance productivity, personalization, and team effectiveness
Build clear visibility into performance through reporting and dashboards, ensuring leaders and partners understand progress and opportunities
Foster a culture of learning and continuous improvement through coaching, feedback, and experimentation
Identify risks early, adjust strategies when needed, and help the team stay focused on outcomes that matter most
Strengthen collaboration across departments to improve how Frontline connects with and serves school districts
What you bring to help us grow
Experience leading and developing sales or business development teams, ideally within a SaaS environment
A track record of building high-performing teams and consistently achieving pipeline or growth targets
Confidence working with CRM platforms and data to guide decisions and improve outcomes
Ability to translate insights into clear actions that drive team performance and business impact
Strong communication skills with a focus on building trust, alignment, and shared accountability
Experience collaborating across teams such as sales, marketing, and enablement
Familiarity with education markets is helpful, but not required

Salary Range: The salary range for this position is between $100,000 - $120,000 based on experience, skills, and internal equity. OTE of $150-170K, 401(k) match, ESPP, comprehensive health benefits, and tuition reimbursement for eligible coursework.
