Develop new leads by calling on merchants and generating leads for the sales executives. Duties & Responsibilities
Assist in the training and development of Software referral BDR team. Generate qualified appointments for the Sales Executives. Determine decision maker and points of contact and merchant card services needs and set up the discovery for the sales executives to address those needs. Contact prospective merchants through cold calling efforts to present information and explain available services via phone. Self-source leads based on ideal client profile to add to pipeline. Log and track activities in the CRM daily. Develop prospects from cold outbound prospecting, inbound leads and trade shows. Travel occasionally to represent Basys at trade shows. Assist the sales manager with day-to-day tasks and projects associated with the BDR team. Adjust sales scripts to better target the needs and interests of a specific business Modify and adjust sales processes as needed, with input from management. Assist with marketing efforts when needed, such as mailings to prospects. Other requests as needed.
Requirements
Excellent verbal and written communication skills Solid computer, grammar and multi-tasking skills Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced, high-volume call center environment
This role is eligible for a hybrid schedule. Up to one day per week may be worked remotely in accordance with the telecommuting policy.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in business administration, or other related fields is preferred A minimum of 1 years’ experience selling, opening new accounts and relationship management Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM
