Job Description
Field-Based Selling and Travel : Spend the majority of the time (75-80%) on the road, traveling across the territory in CT and NY to conduct face-to-face meetings with decision-makers such as property managers and condo boards.
Account Retention and Management : Prioritize retaining the existing book of business by frequently visiting current customers, ensuring quality service, and actively renegotiating expiring contracts which may involve updating equipment and technology.
New Business Development : Balance account management by actively generating new sales leads, following up on prospects, and leveraging trade events and networking to expand the territory footprint.
Requirements
Minimum 3-5 years of previous commercial or B2B Sales experience, utilizing a consultative approach.
Prioritize customer retention by ensuring all existing business at risk is retained, which involves updating equipment/technology and renegotiating expired or expiring contracts.
Experience driving revenue growth by actively managing prospects and accounts within Salesforce.com, ensuring timely updates and actionable reporting.
Location This is a field-based sales role where candidates will work remotely and cover their territory. Ideal Candidates will be based in Hartford County, New Haven County or Westchester County and spend their day driving to customers and events 75% of the time.
