Job Description Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) drives powerful impact and financial results for Visa’s network of clients, including both financial services and merchants. Drawing on our expertise in strategy consulting, data analytics, brand management, marketing, operational and macroeconomics, Visa Consulting and Analytics solves the most strategic problems for our clients.
The US Consulting Practice within VCA provides consulting and solution services for Visa’s largest clients in the United States. We apply deep expertise in the payments industry to provide solutions to assist clients with their key business priorities, drive growth and improve profitability.
The VCA team is looking for a Client Consulting Analyst to join our consulting practice and play a role in developing high impact projects for Visa clients in North America. The potential candidate will be responsible for delivering and implementing projects and solutions with our clients, developing initiatives to promote sustainable and profitable growth, thereby ensuring that Visa is both the preferred brand and unique business partner.
Potential engagements could include payments strategy, product development and launch, customer life cycle analytics and audience development (acquisition, engagement, retention), loyalty optimization, digital propensity modeling, benchmark analysis, geospatial insights, and related responsibilities.
Support consulting initiatives
Develop frameworks, approaches, solutions, and recommendations that effectively and efficiently address the most impactful opportunities and challenges
Build solutions and actionable insights that will help clients grow their portfolios in their core business
Partner with peers in other functional areas (e.g., marketing, sales, risk, innovation) and across global regional teams to execute projects leveraging Visa’s resources
Produce insights, analyses and recommendations to improve client performance, boost growth, and provide strategic guidance for client priorities across verticals and segments
Manipulate and analyze large data sets (industry and Visa) to determine meaningful insights and recommendations for clients
Build new scalable solutions, toolkits, best practice documents and consulting approaches applicable across the VCA practice
Incumbents should be self‑motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of delivering strategic thought leadership, problem diagnostics, and high‑impact solutions to clients while developing enduring relationships with internal and external stakeholders across Visa
This is a hybrid position. The number of days in the office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Qualifications Basic Qualifications:
2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)
Preferred Qualifications:
3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree, or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
Experience working at a consulting firm or in an advisory capacity
Experience working with financial metrics and trends to measure business performance
Demonstrated ability to approach problems with strong critical thinking and analytical discipline
Self‑motivated and results‑oriented, able to handle multiple projects concurrently
Skilled at using presentation, data visualization, and pyramidal storytelling to help clients make data‑driven decisions
Excellent communication and project management skills
Technology mindset, curious, and up‑to‑date with digital trends and applications
Basic knowledge of banking operations, payment schemes, fintech market trends, including products and services, business systems, marketing initiatives, and card‑issuing experience
Additional Information Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5–10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting, requiring the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, and frequently use standard office equipment such as telephones and computers.

Salary & Benefits U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for this position is 98,700 to 125,600 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job‑related factors including knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
