Overview As a
Sales Development Representative (SDR)
at MetricStream, you will play a critical role in driving the company’s growth by identifying and qualifying potential customers. You will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, engaging with prospects, and setting up meetings for the sales team. This role is ideal for a motivated, goal-driven individual looking to develop a career in enterprise sales.
Responsibilities
Conduct outbound prospecting through phone calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other channels to generate interest in MetricStream’s solutions.
Qualify inbound leads from marketing campaigns, assessing their business needs and fit for our products.
Engage in meaningful conversations with key decision-makers to understand their pain points and educate them on MetricStream’s value proposition.
Schedule meetings and product demonstrations for the sales team to move prospects through the sales funnel.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions in CRM systems like Salesforce.
Collaborate with the marketing team to improve lead generation strategies and messaging.
Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly targets for meetings scheduled and pipeline generated.
Continuously learn about GRC industry trends, competitors, and MetricStream’s product offerings to effectively communicate value to prospects.
Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance sales skills and industry knowledge.
Skills And Experience
1-3 years of experience in a Sales Development, Business Development, or similar role, preferably in SaaS, enterprise software, or technology sales.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with potential customers.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to handle objections, think critically, and adapt messaging to different customer needs.
Experience using CRM tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms.
A passion for learning and developing a career in sales.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
Compensation Salary Range : $50,000.00 to $70,000.00
