About the Role The
Labs Buisness Unit
focuses on building next-generation AI-driven products and platforms, working at the intersection of applied research and scalable engineering. We are seeking a
Software Engineer – Backend
to join our Labs team. This is an individual contributor role for engineers with strong backend foundations in Python.
Key Responsibilities
Design and build
scalable backend systems
to support AI/ML applications and services
Work closely with
AI/ML scientists and engineers
to productionize models and pipelines
Develop and maintain
APIs and microservices
for AI-driven applications
Build robust
data pipelines and backend infrastructure
to handle large-scale data processing
Ensure
performance, reliability, and scalability
of AI backend systems
Deploy and manage applications on
cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
Collaborate across teams to translate
AI prototypes into production-ready systems
Required Qualifications
Strong experience in
Python backend development
(FastAPI/Django preferred)
Solid understanding of
building APIs and microservices architectures
Experience working with
databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL, Redis)
Exposure to
cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
Familiarity with
deploying and scaling distributed systems
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with
AI/ML systems or data-intensive applications
Understanding of
model deployment, inference pipelines, or MLOps concepts
Familiarity with
containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
Strong
problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work in a
fast-paced, research-driven environment
Experience with
Agile methodologies and cross-functional collaboration
