Job Overview Reliable Automatic Sprinkler is looking for a
Sales Representative
to cover our Midwest territory. The Sales Representative maintains, promotes, and increases sales between the organization and the customers in an assigned territory by meeting and exceeding forecast and goals.
Responsibilities
Communicate with customers within the assigned territory on a regular basis to develop rapport and better understand their needs.
Identify, isolate, and pursue new customer acquisitions, and conduct cold‑calls for potential leads.
Prepare and review sales reports by identifying and evaluating problem areas and company progress.
Create and maintain a sales plan within corporate guidelines for the assigned territory that meets and exceeds a profit goal.
Provide feedback to the Regional Sales Manager in planning, forecasting, and management of the territory.
Recommend changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations.
Travel significantly to visit current and potential clients as well as overnight travel.
Promote a safe workplace by performing all tasks in a safe and thoughtful manner in compliance with all rules, procedures, instructions, devices, equipment, and use of appropriate personal protective equipment.
Perform other duties as directed.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business and/or Related Field.
3+ years of Outside Sales Experience and/or Engineering.
Valid Driver's License.
Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time.
