Marketing is responsible for assessing customer needs, market conditions and competition to inform business strategy. Marketing implements the strategy through developing, commercializing and monitoring the appropriate products and services.

Creative Services is responsible for the conception, design and production of creative projects and programs from intake through delivery. These projects support marketing communication goals for the business.

Job Summary

The Graphic Designer/Video Editor provides general graphic design and video editing services. The Designer/Editor is responsible for concepting, developing and producing professionally designed materials for internal clients. Project management and client interactions for assigned work, as well as process and asset management (cataloging assets, finished files, etc.) is within scope of the role.

Responsibilities

General

Produces and is accountable for the development of creative assets from concept to final deliverables

Ensures accuracy, attention to detail and delivers on design objectives within brand standards

Effectively handles account management with clients, responding in a timely, thorough manner

Works collaboratively to ensure the best outcomes for team and clients

Video Editing – Corporate Lead

Edits short videos in multiple formats for a variety of channels, including some motion graphics (lower thirds, animated copy, logo animation sequences) where needed. Work will primarily consist of 30-60 second videos for social media, including creation of “audiograms” (lightly animated graphic with recorded VO) and may expand to other similar formats as needed to support. Note: full animation capabilities are not in-scope for this role.

Consult on any externally created work to ensure quality and alignment with Brand standards

Edit, tag, organize and maintain video assets in digital asset management system

Interest/ability to film and photograph is a plus. Some (limited) company equipment available for use. Could include social media content, leadership headshots, etc.

Graphic Design – Support the lead corporate designer, to include the following:

Organic social media graphics (videos and stills) to support our channels (primarily LinkedIn, Facebook, some X and potentially Instagram in future)

Ads for publications

Branded templates

Design to support enterprise needs (HR programs, employee resource groups, community relations, etc.)

C-suite external presentation support for key events, conferences

Complete design reviews and provide feedback regarding Brand Guidelines for external agency-created work

Audit and approve/deny company-wide user requests to download assets via digital asset management system

Uploading, editing, cataloging finished design assets and photos in digital asset management system

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred

5+ years of relevant, professional experience in creative/graphic design and experience in video editing preferred

Experience in executing creative concepts across platforms, including digital, social media

Excellent typography, design and production skills in digital mediums, with a strong understanding of web, social media and video best practices

Demonstrates understanding and experience with social media and video/motion design principles

Demonstrates proficient expertise in Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Photoshop, AfterEffects/Premier Pro, Acrobat and Illustrator. Adobe certification a plus.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint and Word

Experience with Workfront (or similar program), and ability and willingness to manage projects within this tool

Experience with Bynder, digital asset management platform, (or similar tool) strongly preferred

Actively learns new techniques to be more proficient in their skills while sharing and mentoring others

Highly organized with a strong record of working independently, meeting deadlines and attention to detail

Strong interpersonal skills and a record of collaboration and teamwork

$66,500-94,900
