Responsibilities
Design and execute test plans across web, API, and backend platforms using TestRail
Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress)
Identify, log, and manage defects using Jira
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, grooming, and retrospectives
Validate software features against business requirements
Report on test coverage, defect trends, and quality metrics
Collaborate with developers to enhance software testability
Conduct business rule configuration testing in relational databases (MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle)
Perform testing in virtual and intranet environments
Perform testing on proprietary devices and mobile devices
Minimum Qualifications
3 years of QA experience in a software development environment.
Strong understanding of QA methodologies and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Experience with testing tools and repository software.
Familiarity with codebases written in PHP, React (Next.js), Ruby, Angular, Node.js, Java, or JSP.
Ability to understand and execute testing in relational databases (MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Jira, TestRail, Postman, Git, and/or CI/CD pipelines.
Experience testing APIs using Postman or REST‑assured.
Strong SQL skills for data validation.
Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
Excellent hardware troubleshooting skills.
Proficiency with automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or Cypress.
ISTQB or equivalent QA certification
Payment industry experience.
