Job Description Lead Mobile Application Developer - Fortune Brands Innovations Group - Deerfield, IL.
Will contribute to architecture, design & development of new features for mobile Android apps. Implement end‑to‑end mobile features from interface to API integration, participate in design reviews, code reviews & test coverage improvements.
Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related or foreign equivalent and 5 years of experience working on an Android platform, including utilizing Java & working with Android SDK to build consumer‑facing mobile applications.
Qualifications
5 years of experience in developing Kotlin, Java & Android SDK
3 years of experience developing Jetpack Compose, MVVM & Jetpack Components
Experience architecting & scaling Android apps using Modern Android Architecture
Experience debugging with Android Studio & Firebase Crashlytics
Experience designing models & interfacing with SQL & database design
Experience developing & consuming REST API
Experience debugging & testing using emulators, Android ADB & test harnesses for automation
3 years of experience integrating distributed design systems using publish‑subscribe protocols including MQTT
Experience developing Bluetooth integrations for Android
Experience integrating with CircleCI or similar system
Experience leading teams or mentoring developers
Experience developing libraries or SDKs used by external teams
Additional Information Pay Range: $124,000 – $190,300 per year. The actual salary within the range will be based on factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location.
