Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs)
with mass balances
Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
General Arrangement layouts, equipment layouts, and detailed fabrication drawings
Translate client scope into system concepts, layouts, and production‑ready designs
Create and maintain
accurate technical drawings and models
using AutoCAD (2D/3D)
Develop and manage
Bills of Materials (BOMs)
for costing and system build‑out
Work directly with vendors to finalize specifications for equipment, piping, instrumentation, and system components
Maintain
Materials of Construction (MOC)
standards and ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and safety requirements
Develop
Operator Manuals (OMs)
and design documentation
Project Coordination & Technical Support
Manage engineering tasks independently while coordinating closely with internal teams, clients, and vendors
Solve design challenges creatively with strong engineering judgment
Support field‑installation needs and system start‑up activities (occasional U.S. travel)
What You Bring
B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or closely related field
5+ years of Mechanical Design or Process Engineering experience
Advanced proficiency with
AutoCAD (2D & 3D)
Strong understanding of
fluid systems, pumps, valves, heat exchangers, corrosion‑resistant materials , and industrial equipment
Ability to interpret
programming logic diagrams
and
electrical/wiring diagrams
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with engineers, clients, and vendors
Strong organizational habits—documentation, archiving, BOM management, and version control
Ability to work independently and manage your own engineering workload
Must be a
U.S. Citizen
due to client site and data‑access requirements
Benefits
SIMPLE IRA Plan
Paid Time Off (PTO)
Hybrid work flexibility
Long‑term career stability in a niche, highly technical engineering field
Why This Role Stands Out This is an opportunity to become a key contributor in a specialized engineering environment where your designs directly influence safety, environmental performance, and operational reliability for major industrial clients. You’ll work hands‑on with complex systems, collaborate with highly skilled engineers, and contribute to projects that carry real impact—while enjoying the flexibility and close‑knit culture of a smaller engineering team.
