Do you think in scalable systems, stable structures, and long-term maintainability?
And do you enjoy taking technical ownership and shaping foundational decisions?
Then you might be a great fit for our team.
About Us tripunkt GmbH develops the Pathfinder Suite, a leading software solution for managing and visualizing data centres and IT infrastructures. More than 700 international companies rely on our solutions to efficiently document, analyze, and operate complex IT environments.
As part of the strategic expansion of our product portfolio, we are developing new, standalone web applications based on React, TypeScript, and .NET.
To support this initiative, we are looking for an experienced frontend engineer with a strong systems-thinking mindset who will design the technical foundation of our web platform and establish a scalable, sustainable, and clearly structured frontend architecture.
Your Role
You take end-to-end ownership of the frontend architecture of Pathfinder Web - from application structure and module boundaries to state management and data flows - building a scalable foundation for both SaaS and on-premise deployments.
You define clear architectural standards, patterns, and coding conventions, implement them, and ensure their consistent long-term adoption within the team.
You design the integration strategy between the React frontend and the .NET backend, ensuring a clean separation of UI, client-side logic, and API communication.
You establish and evolve a robust design system that guarantees consistency across features as the product and team scale.
You act as the technical lead within the product squad, make well-founded architectural decisions, communicate them transparently, and collaborate closely with Product, UX, and Engineering.
What You Bring
Several years of experience building complex, data-intensive web applications with React and TypeScript in production environments.
Deep understanding of modern frontend architecture, including state management (e.g., Zustand, Redux, TanStack Query), performance optimization, code splitting, and modular component design.
Proven ability to design scalable frontend architectures and define standards and conventions that enable teams to collaborate effectively over the long term.
Experience building and maintaining design systems and reusable component libraries.
Experience integrating React frontends with .NET backends (REST, GraphQL, SignalR, OpenAPI). Strong .NET knowledge is a plus, but not required.
Confident use of modern tooling (Vite, ESLint, Vitest, Playwright) and the ability to effectively leverage AI tools in modern development workflows.
The ability to evaluate technical trade-offs in the context of product goals and communicate architectural decisions clearly.
Excellent German and English communication skills, written and spoken.
What We Offer
A modern loft office at Hackescher Markt with an open atmosphere, short decision‑making paths, and a well‑stocked fridge
Flexible working arrangements with a truly lived hybrid model
Modern technical equipment and a contemporary tooling landscape
Attractive benefits such as subsidies for public transport or bike leasing, corporate fitness programs, or non‑cash vouchers
Individually tailored training and professional development opportunities
Structured, personal onboarding to ensure a smooth start
An open, appreciative team culture with direct communication and regular team events.
This position is intended as full-time. Part‑time models are possible by arrangement.
