Background The
Strategic
Analytics Engineer
will combine deep technical expertise with strong business acumen to design and optimize data processes that enable analytical teams to make informed, data driven decisions. In addition, this role will analyze complex datasets and provide strategic insights that guide and influence business strategy.
What Will You Do?
Serve as a liaison between Analytics and Technology teams to ensure seamless data accessibility for strategic decision making, while analyzing existing processes, integrating data from diverse sources, and proactively enhancing workflows to meet the evolving needs of the Analytics teams.
Design, maintain, and optimize forecasting financial models to ensure alignment with strategic planning objectives, proactively addressing issues and improving performance as needed.
Leverage strong business acumen to deliver forecasting, trend analysis, and dashboards to strategic partners, interpreting KPI shifts and providing actionable insights to inform business decisions.
Lead the development and management of dashboards in Tableau and Power BI, while designing and maintaining tools including data models, automation systems, and technical workflows to streamline data processing, reporting, and analytics.
Ensure data integrity for analysis through feature engineering and rigorous quality assurance, while implementing controls and validations across financial models, data processes, and dashboards.

Responsibilities/Experience
Self-starter, passion for data process enhancements and code optimization to serve Analytic team needs
4+ years of experience mining and analyzing data, using it to provide strategic recommendations on analysis performed
Highly engaged and analytical to solve complex business questions
MUST have strong SQL skills, Snowflake, Tableau / Power BI
