Atlanta, GA, (Smyrna area) 3 days a week onsite
Our client is looking for a Project Manager that will be responsible for managing the delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects from inception to completion. This person will be responsible for coordinating cross-functional teams, developing project plans, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This individual will work across all IT groups including application development and security, as well as other business units to develop project plans, budgets, communications plan, and resource plans.
Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Responsibilities
Develop and manage end‑to‑end project plans, including scope, schedule, resources, budgets, and required project artifacts.
Estimate costs, build and control project budgets, and validate third‑party invoices.
Coordinate resources, monitor progress, manage risks/issues, and drive tasks to completion across multiple concurrent projects.
Prepare and deliver weekly status reports, communication plans, and executive‑level presentations.
Partner with IT and business stakeholders on task sizing, effort estimation, and project documentation.
Coordinate testing activities, conduct retrospectives, and complete project closeout documentation using standard PM tools (MS Project, Teams, Office suite, Jira).
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, with 3–5 years of project management experience.
Strong Project Management fundamentals including planning and scheduling, budget management, risk and dependency management and stakeholder coordination.
Experience managing large-scale infrastructure projects using tools such as MS Project and Jira.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure with strong time management and organizational skills.
Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills; able to work independently and within a team.
Local to Atlanta and ability to work Hybrid Schedule, 3 days a week.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Project and Jira.
Working knowledge of PMI methodology; PMP or Agile/Scrum certification preferred.
Strong understanding of infrastructure technologies (e.g., networking, server environments) a plus.
Highly organized with the ability to establish and articulate a plan and progress toward goal

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available and that may result in pay outside of the range provided.
