The Opportunity

This is a 12-week internship with start dates beginning on May 19 or June 2, 2025, depending on your availability. Nutanix offers both remote and hybrid internships where you would work from the San Jose, CA, office 2-3 days/week. Submit your application by March 15, 2025

About the Team

The Product and Solutions Marketing team drives the go-to-market strategy for Nutanix products, with a dedicated team managing cloud management solutions, particularly Nutanix Cloud Manager. This team oversees all cloud management-related solutions, analyzes customer cloud usage trends, and publishes an annual cloud usage report. By examining infrastructure resource consumption, public cloud spending, and customer actions, they provide valuable insights that help businesses understand the impact of their cloud usage. Their work enables organizations to optimize cloud strategies, improve cost efficiency, and make data-driven decisions.

Your Role

Analyze cloud usage data to identify trends in infrastructure resource consumption, public cloud spending, and customer actions.

Contribute to the creation of the annual cloud usage report, helping businesses understand the impact of their cloud usage - https://www.nutanix.com/go/cloud-usage-report-2024

Parse and interpret data to develop a meaningful narrative around key findings.

Utilize data analytics tools such as Excel and Tableau (Python knowledge is a plus).

Apply cloud computing knowledge to assess public cloud deployment and usage patterns.

Leverage business acumen to translate data insights into actionable recommendations.

Communicate findings clearly through well-structured reports and presentations.

Automate Product Go to Market workflows using tools like Zapier and Make.

Leverage Nutanix's internal LLM tools to enhance data analysis capabilities.

Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in cloud technology.

What You Will Bring

Enrolled in an undergraduate program in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present data effectively.

Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Tableau, or similar software.

Strong experience with workflow automation platforms (Zapier, Make) to streamline Product Go to Market processes.

Demonstrated ability to utilize LLM tools effectively.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Interest in cloud technology and a desire to learn more about cloud adoption trends.

More information for students

The pay range for this position at the commencement of employment is expected to be between USD 22 and USD 30 per hour.

However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

Hybrid

: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. For most roles, that will mean coming into an office a minimum of 2 - 3 days per week. However, specific roles and/or teams may require more frequent in-office presence. Your manager will provide additional team-specific guidance and norms.
