As a vital member of our team, you will lead the charge in delivering our enriching ethos and curriculum to our children and families. Our nursery operates from 7:00 AM to 6:15 PM, and we need someone flexible to work varied shifts within these hours.

In this dynamic position, you will:

• Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences tailored to children's age and development.
• Support the holistic development of children—physically, intellectually, socially, and emotionally.
• Assist staff in maintaining high-quality updates on the EyLog system and children's learning journals.
• Lead by example, promoting respect and credibility in your role.
• Implement an effective key person approach to foster secure attachments and identify staff training needs.
• Maintain accurate records on the EyMan system and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
• Prioritize the safety and well-being of every child, staff member, parent, and visitor.

To thrive in this role, you should possess:

• Essential: Full and relevant Level 3 Childcare qualification.
• Essential: Over 1 year of experience in Early Years.
• Desirable: Over 6 months of experience in a senior position.
• Desirable: Knowledge of Ofsted expectations for achieving a Good or Outstanding rating.
• Essential: Familiarity with the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements.
• Essential: Fluency in written and spoken English.
