POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Seigneur Lepage residence, a warm and welcoming private seniors' residence, has an opening for a Housekeeping Attendant (no experience required) for a part-time position! Working in a residence is more than just a job; it's a life experience. It's an opportunity to be recognized and valued, to participate in the continuous improvement of our services, and to make a significant difference in the daily lives of our seniors!
We are currently seeking a creative and passionate part-time Cook who wants to provide an exceptional culinary experience for our residents.

ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assemble plates of food
• Ensure and optimize quality standards in the use of food
• Ensure the kitchen and equipment are kept clean according to established hygiene and cleanliness standards
• Manning the warm table, help residences with their choices
• Peel and cut vegetables for meals
• Plan and cook meals in accordance with the appropriate methods and standards
• Supervise the preparation of cold meals and desserts
• Use products and equipment according to the safety, quality, hygiene and cleanliness rules and standards in effect
• Use work methods consistent with the health and safety rules and cleanliness standards in effect
• When appropriate, collaborate with the chef in the creation of the menus by proposing ideas
