Senior/Principal Structural Engineer (Remote)

Spectra Tech, Inc. is seeking a Senior / Principal Structural Engineer to support engineering projects requiring independent technical judgment and advanced structural engineering expertise. This role involves developing and reviewing structural calculations, drawings, construction specifications, and specialized analyses in support of complex projects, including those within DOE and nuclear facility environments.

The Structural Engineer will be responsible for independently performing advanced structural engineering tasks, including but not limited to:

• Developing and reviewing structural calculations, drawings, construction specifications, and specialized analyses
• Gathering, correlating, and interpreting technical data
• Performing independent technical analyses and engineering studies to develop project solutions
• Applying federal, state, and local codes and standards applicable to structural engineering design
• Supporting projects requiring advanced engineering judgment and problem-solving

A working knowledge of applicable structural engineering codes and standards is required.

• Minimum of 13+ years of structural engineering experience
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Structural or Civil discipline)
• Experience working with DOE sites and nuclear facilities is preferred
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred , but not required
