I am looking for a collaborative and forward-thinking
Senior Software Engineer
to lead the development of our core capabilities. You will play a pivotal role in the future of technology within their industry, managing their flagship API and leading the innovation of their AI-powered SaaS.
Senior Software Engineer
Location: Dublin - Hybrid, 3 days on-site, 2 days working from home.
You will work across two primary environments:
Primary Application (Node.js)
Frameworks:
NestJS, Fastify
AI Services (Python)
Frameworks:
FastAPI, Pydantic
AI/LLM:
Inference LLM Servers, AWS Bedrock, RAG.
Key Skills and Experience
Experience:
You have roughly 5+ years of experience building web applications. You are comfortable with backend architectures and API design.
Polyglot Interest:
You have strong skills in
Node.js/TypeScript
and are proficient in (or excited to work with)
Python .
AI Curiosity:
You have experience with or a strong desire to learn about integrating LLMs into production systems.
Database Knowledge:
You understand how to design schemas and query databases like PostgreSQL efficiently.
Cloud Fluency:
Comfortable working in cloud environments (Preferably AWS), including containers, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, security, and observability.
Collaborative Spirit:
You communicate clearly and enjoy solving problems with others.
Agility:
You are comfortable in an Agile working environment, actively participating in stand ups and honestly giving feedback at retros.
Nice to Have
Real-time audio and streaming pipelines.
Practical experience with AI/LLM services, agent-based systems, RAG system, etc.
Familiarity with healthcare standards (HL7, HIPAA) or medical data.
Experience prioritizing accessibility and inclusive design. xcfaprz
