This is a hands-on NPD role where you’ll take ownership of projects from concept right through to launch. Working closely with the NPD Manager and cross-functional teams, you’ll play a key role in shaping innovative food products for both retail and foodservice markets across Ireland and the UK.

Key responsibilities
- Lead the development of new food products from concept through to launch
- Create and refine recipes to meet quality, cost, and nutritional targets
- Stay ahead of market trends, identifying new opportunities for innovation
- Plan and execute kitchen trials and factory scale-ups
- Support the transition from development into full production
- Maintain accurate documentation, including specs and formulations
- Work closely with customers on bespoke product development projects
- Support product presentations, tastings, and technical queries
- Collaborate with suppliers to source ingredients and drive innovation
What we’re looking for
- Experience in food product development, ideally within chilled, prepared, or ready-to-eat categories
- A qualification in Food Science, Food Technology, Culinary Arts, or similar
- Strong understanding of ingredients, processing, and sensory evaluation
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- A passion for food, innovation, and continuous improvement
- Full, clean driver’s licence
