Nursery Manager

Position: Full-time, Permanent (Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week)
Salary: £14.06 per hour

Location: Our charming nursery is nestled in a stunning rural setting, surrounded by fields. This converted barn boasts expansive outdoor play areas, perfect for all weather conditions!

At our nursery, children from birth to 5 years embark on a journey of exploration, learning, and development through engaging activities and resources that promote learning through play. We cherish the great outdoors, offering open spaces and a bespoke forest school facility for outdoor learning.

We believe that children should feel safe, healthy, and stimulated in their educational journey. We work closely with parents to ensure we meet their needs and expectations.

This role is ideal for an experienced Room Lead or Nursery Practitioner who has a passion for caring for children aged 0-5 years and is eager to embrace an exciting career opportunity!

• Full and relevant Level 3 Childcare Qualification - Essential
• Over 1 year's experience working in Early Years - Essential
• Sound knowledge of Ofsted expectations for achieving a Good or Outstanding rating - Desirable
• Knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements - Essential
• Fluent in written and spoken English - Essential

As a valued member of our team, you’ll:

• Lead the care and development of children aged 3 months to 1 year.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment and support secure attachments.
• Guide and support team members, identifying training needs.
• Utilize EyLog/EyMan to track progress and maintain accurate records.
• Build strong relationships with parents and keep them informed.
• Ensure compliance with EYFS and safeguarding standards.
• Promote outdoor learning and overall child development.
• Model professionalism and foster a respectful team culture.
