Position: Level 2 Nursery Practitioner

Hours: 30 hours per week

Schedule: Tuesday-Thursday, All Year Round

Salary: £20,888.40

Welcome to Cherrystone Nursery , a nurturing day nursery and preschool located in the heart of Stoneleigh, Surrey! We cater to children aged 3 months to 5 years and have recently transformed our outdoor spaces to include exciting features like a climbing frame, growing patch, and creative art area. Inside, our spacious rooms are designed to ignite curiosity and support every stage of development.

We are on the lookout for a passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our dedicated team. This full-time role involves working 30 hours a week, with shifts scheduled between 7:30 am and 6:00 pm. Please note that this is a year-round position, as we operate continuously throughout the year.

In this role, you will:

• Meet each child’s individual needs, delivering high-quality care and education in a safe and nurturing environment.
• Observe, assess, and plan engaging early years activities that cater to each child's unique learning and development.
• Collaborate with your team, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn new skills.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring they are regularly reviewed and applied.
• Follow risk assessments diligently and report any health and safety concerns to management.
• Support the holistic development of children, focusing on their physical, intellectual, social, and emotional growth.

• Full and relevant Level 2 childcare qualification - essential.
• Fluency in written and spoken English - essential.
• Over 1 year of experience in Early Years - desirable.
• Knowledge of the Statutory Framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements - desirable.
