We are excited to announce that Chetco Medical and Aesthetics (CMA), a private internal medicine practice located on the beautiful southern Oregon Coast, is hiring an advanced practice provider (APP) to join our healthcare team.
At Chetco Medical & Aesthetics we believe in providing the very best, personalized care for our patients. We take the time to get to know our patients and their personal health goals and then craft a care plan that is customized for their unique situation. We excel at helping many patients live full and active lifestyles through holistic, comprehensive medicine that helps ensure graceful aging. We offer a range of services including internal medicine, preventative care, and aesthetics that help each and every patient present the very best version of themselves. Given this focus on comprehensive, holistic, anti-aging medicine, we do not prescribe to traditional 15-20 minute patient visits but rather we schedule 30-minute and 1-hour patient encounters for an average of 9-12 patients per day. We are looking for a teammate that shares our passion of delivering the best possible care. This is an ideal practice for junior advanced practice providers who are looking to hone their skills, expand their knowledge, and cultivate meaningful relationships with their patients.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough medical assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests.
* Diagnosis and Treatment: Collaborate with physicians to diagnose and treat various medical conditions. Prescribe medications, therapies, and treatment plans as appropriate.
* Medical Procedures: Perform a range of medical procedures such as wound care, suturing, and injections.
* Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, treatment options, and preventive healthcare practices.
* Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories, treatment plans, and progress notes.
* Collaboration: Work closely with healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and support staff, to ensure coordinated and efficient patient care.
* Continuing Education: Stay current with medical advancements and best practices by participating in ongoing education and training.
* Compliance: Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards governing healthcare practices.
*Qualifications*
Education: Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program. Current state licensure and certification as a Physician Assistant. Board eligible for Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant
*Experience*
Ideal for junior advanced practice providers eager to enhance their skills.

*Licensure*
Current state licensure as a Physician Assistant. This will be handled on our end.

*About Chetco Medical and Aesthetics (CMA):*
Chetco Medical and Aesthetics (CMA) is a private internal medicine practice located on the beautiful southern Oregon Coast that boasts a modern medispa, Bellezza. CMA is led by two physicians, Dr. Jay Patel (Dr. Jay) and Dr. Palak Patel (Dr. Palak). Dr. Jay completed his medical school in India before completing his internal medicine residency at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, with board certifications in Obesity Medicine and Geriatric Medicine. Dr. Palak completed his medical school at Oregon Health and Sciences University, his internal medicine residency at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, and a geriatric fellowship at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Over the last several years, they have had PA students rotate at their clinic and have trained multiple junior APPs. Our previous APPs have greatly benefited from the supervision provided for encounters, the thorough educational curriculum, and our weekly educational sessions. This prepares our team to see a broad spectrum of diseases and work at the top of their degree.
Additionally, Dr. Palak has advanced training in aesthetics. He is the medical director for the medical spa, Bellezza, which is part of Chetco Medical and Aesthetics. Here, providers will be able to provide cosmetic and wellness services for our clients. For those applicants who are interested in aesthetic medicine, there is an opportunity to be trained and receive advanced certifications in aesthetic medicine at our Medispa, Bellezza.
